Guran -- we need a check but we don't have sda floppy in house.
Could you please:
1- run the following on a Cooker machine:
# mkbootdisk --noprompt --appendargs hdc=ide-scsi devfs=mount --device /dev/sda
2.4.8-11mdk
(this is the same, minus --bios 0)
(or another kernel is you have another version/release installed, of
course)
2- then verify if this floppy really boots
