In RedHat as I remember, after the card is tested RedHat puts up a window, 
that shows the result of its test. Something like:
Riva TNT2
4 MB
but under 4 MB there are buttons for higher momories like 8 MB, 16 MB and one 
with the effect "give amount", where I can enter my 32 MB.
