After reading web pages for about an hour over a pppoe adsl connection, I got 
the 'server not found' message after clicking on a bookmark in Netscape.  The
'file modified' time was within the previous minute on resolv.conf, which was
now only root r-w.  This would not be kppp, would it?  On beta2.
