False. Just read included license file. It begins with:
Sun Microsystems, Inc.
Binary Code License Agreement
> Blakdown JDK would be *complete* opensource java on every MDK box.

All 'complete' (IBM, Sun and Blackdown) java JVM use parts licensed by Sun.
Free JVM (kaffe, japhar, ?) use totally independant code, but are far from
complete.

Most serious java developper have also Sun & IBM, which are really bigger,
just for testing compatibility purpose.
If you want to get rid of kaffe, uninstall it, then either use --nodeps at
each package installation, or use such a /etc/rpmrc file:
Provides: kaffe

If you are interested by java software, you'll find many mandrake rpms on
jpackage project page: http://jpackage.sourceforge.net/packages.php
