OK, here is my story.
I noticed that the initrd was of different size so I first made a new one
then I copied it from the floppy to the boot partition and later I changed
the kernel too, but all in vain.
It all happens when HardDrake is called during boot.
Well, I will leave it at that and try a new install on another partition.
