[Cooker] Kudzu pecularities

Hi

This is about my latest Cooker installation: 2.4.8-18 vers:1.565.

When I boot through my grub front, the kudzu fails, and takes for ever, and 
my passwds are not recognised.

When using the bootdisk everything is fine.

How do I go about to diagnose this?
