[Cooker] Suspend problems on Thinkpad...

One of the things I've had issues with on my thinkpads since 8.0 is 
suspending  the machine and then coming out of suspend.

In 8.0 I can suspend the machine but the network doesn't come back up

In 8.1 Beta2  The only way the machine seems to suspend ( have to play 
around some more ) is to not be running X.  And even then it takes a 
LONG time to suspend.  Though it does seem to bring the network back up.

7.2 worked ok.

Any thoughts?  Additional Info?
