I don't believe the problem lies there.. when I boot in 2.4.8-12mdk there is
no problem, but when I boot in 2.4.8-21mdk (and -18mdk. -19mdk and -20mdk) I
get an error message in /var/log/messages saying it can't allocate 256 IO
ports for CardBus Socket 0 (or if I put the PCMCIA card in the other slot,
socker 1).. so the pcmcia.conf (or whatever it is called) shouldn't be the
problem.. I must admit that I don't really have any idea exactly where the
problem lies.. but I thought I'd just contribute a bit to Mandrake Linux by
reporting a bug and helping with as much information about it as possible
(I've reported it on qa.mandrakesoft.com as well..)
