Hello,
A friend tried to install Mandrake 8.0 on the second hard drive of his
computer. He previously had Win2000 on the first hard drive and the
seconh hard drive has never been formatted. He did a non-expert
installation and choose the default setup for lilo (on the MBR of the
first HD).
Afterward he can boot into Linux from the lilo prompt without problem. But
when he tries to boot into Win2000 he gets a BSOD:
inaccessible_boot_device.
Has anyone seen this previously?
I'll lend him a set of CDs of the latest 8.1 beta. Will he get the same
result?
