1. As this is a cooker list, could you tell us which version of cooker stuff (kudzu, kernel etc) you are running? 1a Does the card run w/framebuffer under a standard distro (MDK 8.1 or the like)? 2. Have you changed the video prefer = AGP (or something like that) in your BIOS? 3. You haven't told us which card it is, nor have you said if your current card is supported under either Linux or framebuffer (not all are - some are both & some run under Linux, but not with fb support) With all these details, it's going to be easier to help.... -- john in syd
