As you can read from my signature, the mirror image is per 1/11 0218
according to version from ftp.sunet.se, and kudzu-0.99.23-3mdk. I just
reported this as I had a lengthy discussion with I think: Guillaume
Cottenceau about this behavior, way back when devfs started. I guessed that
my problem might come from my me using a PCI card on a mobo that had an empty
AGP slot - but my new card just showed that my guess was false. The funny
thing is that, when I boot from the bootdisk kudzu is fine. The old card was
Creative 3D Blaster RivaTNT2 Vanta PCI, and this is a MVGA-NVG11A reported as
Nvidia GeForce2 DDR (generic).
Don't waste your time on this I am personally fine with nonfb - I have never
seen this reported by anybody else.

I never installed 8.1 because partly from this, but Mdk8.0 runs fine and so
does rh-enigma, but the rh kudzu didn't find my parallell port Zip drive.

Yes, it is all set.

See above.

OK - point taken.
