When I try to install Cooker (using bootdisk) or 8.1 I've started to get "VFS: Cannot open root device "ram3" or 01:03" and a Kernel Panic before I even get to DrakX. I have tried to reformat the hard drive, but the problem just won't go away. Why does this happen?
For fun I put the Mandrake 7.02 install CD in there and it didn't complain at all. So it seems like the installation has become more picky over time. Please give me some hints, because I want to be a Cooker again. Regards, Mattias
