Guys... Can anyone here help me with my Problem...
I Have - ASUS P5A-B , AMD K6-2 500 - 128, PC133 SDRAM - Genius Optical Mouse, PS2/USB - NVidia RIVA TNT2 M64 chip Video (Powercolor SNIPER) - ASUS 36X CDROM well, my problem is when I try to install ML 8.1 Download, it beeps after boot-up, then my mouse wont get detected, btw, i picked standard PS2 Wheelmouse during setup.. It works fine during install but I have no mouse after install ... but when I install Corel Linux 2nd Edition... it works fine.... It runs smoothly...I also tried to Install Win2K but it hangs when it tries to detect my Video card.... also with Win-Me.. it does not load my NVidia Drivers... I tried using the Drivers that came with my card and also the Detonator Drivers from NVidia.. but to no avail... although I havent tried Other MS OS's yet...can you guys help me with this... I asked my friend he said that the P5A-B (ALI Aladdin Chipset) is not compatible with my NVidia Card.. he suggested I buy an S3 Savage 2000.. would this help??? and also use a Serial Mouse....
