if your using kmail go to settings>configure kmail, then under identy you can 
either use a file, program, or just type in what your want.  If you use a 
program/file make sure you have the exact path. If you want to use your 
signature, while you are composing a message choose attach>append signature.  
If you want your signature on every messages, go to settings>configure kmail, 
under composer, go to the general tab, and choose always append signature.
