Guillaume,

Tried it this evening. The new install image brought up the network
perfectly, and using dhcp was able to get all of it's parameters from my
firewall box just fine. Ran a network install off sunsite.uio.no. Went well
except that it does not appear that the pcmcia stuff was installed!

The installer when it gets to network notices that the install was a network
install, and says that it will use the parameters already set up. That's
fine. Unfortunately, on reboot, there's no network.

Looking a little further, if I go into netconf, none of the ethernet ports
are enabled. If I enable eth0 and put in pcnet_cs for the kernel module, it
will then try to reset the network, but then complans that there is no pcmcia
in /etc/rc.d/init.d.

I'll keep playing with it. I think if I boot to windows, get the PCMCIA
stuff, re-boot to linux and install it with rpm i'll be closer.

        V.
