Bonjour, Not sure if this subject was risen before, but I just encountered a bug in flex that Mandrake 8.1 deploys. It was introduced by RedHat Linux 7.0, I think, but has not yet been fixed in Mandrake (and possibly other RPM based distributions).
Flex (of Mandrake 8.1) generates code that contains function-definitions which are incompatible with 'unistd.h'. After having replaced my flex with a clean package, the error went away. More info and a binary are available from: http://www.redhat.com/support/errata/RHBA-2001-080.html If you respond to this e-mail, please don't forget to Cc: me, as I am not subscribed to the list.
