I just installed it from sources here. But it was quite a pain to get it
running. First of all, the db-sources didn't make a shared library, so I had
to generate these with
gcc -shared -Wl,-libdb2.so.2 \
-o libdb2.so.2.7.7 *.o
For some reason I had to copy all the .o's in a directory. Don't remember
anymore why. Once I had this done, I let it install, removed
/usr/lib/libdb2.so.2.4.14, run ldconfig, compiled hotkeys (with the correct
configure-options), moved libdb2.so.2.4.14 back (my xemacs depends on it),
re-run ldconfig and hotkeys was running.
For some time I had troubles running hotkeys, 'till I found out that hotkeys
linked against libxml and not libxml2.
Yes, there should be some update of hotkeys, as well as db2, like db2.2.7.7
seems to be the last official 2-version. But as I still ain't got my
DSL-connection, I still didn't try out Mandrake-cooker :(
