Or did I missing something in the partmon script?
Work stations which are turned off and on a a frequent basis would detect the condition, but machines on continuously would not have the check done again. I have a file server running 7.1 which just crossed the 1 year continous run, and a work station using 8.1 that until a week ago had been running 4 months. Just my 2 cents worth, but perhaps having the script run on a periodic basis, generate an email (configurable) on detecting a potential problem, make its presence known somehow when the limit(s) is crossed, allow configuration of the partitions and sizes would enhance its usefulness. regards Dave
