By default, ordinary users do not get added to these groups on high security levels (msec). The high group numbers should IMHO be considered a bug and fixed, but they should only need adding to /etc/group on systems which actually use the higher security levels. So I do not consider their presence on such systems to be a bug at all, actually a useful feature and a good default. I just don't like the high numbers which are allocated for them. Cheers; Leon
