Look harder.
This is not uncommon, there is almost certain an error lying around
somewhere, you just have to look very carefully ...
It could fail as early as you're building the filelist. So yes it's quite
elusive.
However: if you're building it with rpm -bi --short-circuit or something,
this is normal behavior.
