With my mirror partition called, of all things, cooker, and mounted in 8.1, the
directory structure looks like:
/cooker/cooker/cooker/
\
/contrib/i586
ls -l /cooker/cooker/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS2
lrwxrwxrwx 1 1137 1100 22 Jan 6 16:14
/cooker/cooker/cooker/Mandrake/RPMS2 -> ../../../contrib/i586/
RPMS2 is a link to i586 in the contrib branch, so you have to make these
directories for it to work, along with the -L switch:
rsync -avL --delete ftp.sunet.se::Mandrake-devel/cooker/cooker/
/cooker/cooker/cooker
