As fpc seems utterly broke, i'm trying for two days now to have a working gpc
package in mandrake. Howerver, it's a gcc family members, and is *not*
(according to its maintainers) compatible with 2.96 :-(

Proposed solutions are:
1) add a gpc subpackage to current gcc 2.96 package
But:
- it is not established it will work
- it needs some patching to gcc, which secondary effect are unknown
- modifying a core package just before freeze is a bad idea :-)

2) add a gpc subpackage to current gcc2.95 package
But:
- this package is only used for ppc
- again, modifying a core package just before freeze is a bad idea :-)

3) try to build a distinct gcc package, incorporating only gcc runtimes libs
needed
But:
- if will be conflicting with gcc2.95

I tried 3, i have a working gpc package. Should i commit it to contrib now ?
Opinion welcomed, as i'm getting a bit lost in gcc arcanes... Guys, i tought
XFree spec was the most complex one, but i'm still puzzled by the gcc one :-)
