According to the source, the sym53c8xx is a newer version of the ncr53c8xx
supporting chips newer than the 810A. I've got an old 810, so the ncr53c8xx
is
the way to go. I have no problem with this driver, I just want to say that
the 53c7,8xx used by the LM installer is not a good choice.
