There is, but it is an issue to take up with the developers of RPM, not
Mandrake.  The single feature of the .deb package format that I find
most lacking in RPM is a "Suggests:" field.  The packages listed as
suggested are not required to be installed for the package to function,
but they do increase its functionality and/or useability.  Without the
ability to "suggest" packages, many (a great many) RPM packages depend
on some other packages merely because the packager feels that it is
essential to the package, not because the packages are actually
dependant (for example, mutt's dependancy on urlview).
