Nice try - but this machine is almost 4 years old (very old by computer
standards) and I have the latest BIOS update (which was last updated
version available).  There has not been any BIOS updates for this
machine for many moons.

By the way, how does one identify the BIOS release while under Linux?
Is there any way inside a booted Linux to identify the BIOS version
information?
