hmm..funny that you mention this. Since a bit before 8.1 (I think after a kernel or X upgrade) numlock causes my old K6 (on Asus P5A) to act a bit weird. I need to hold a key for about 4 or 5 seconds before it comes on the screen (but then if I keep holding it a lot of chars appear, so the repeat is working normally). I just fixed it by turning numlock off, and didn't really worry about it. It is with a normal (thoug older, without winkeys) US PS/2 keyboard. Danny
