Hi,

I lost my dvd cdrom player support with the latest devfs:
devfsd-1.3.24-14mdk

[~]# dmesg|grep -i cd

Uniform CD-ROM driver unloaded
Uniform CD-ROM driver unloaded
Uniform CD-ROM driver unloaded
Uniform CD-ROM driver unloaded
Uniform CD-ROM driver unloaded

hdd: BDV 108A DVDROM, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02

[~]# dmesg|grep scsi

Kernel command line: BOOT_IMAGE=2418 ro root=345 devfs=mount hdd=ide-scsi

ide_setup: hdd=ide-scsi

scsi0 : SCSI host adapter emulation for IDE ATAPI devices

I didn't make this link:

ls -la /lib/dev-state/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/generic
crw-rw---- 1 han cdwriter 21, 0 Mar 9 20:44
/lib/dev-state/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/generic

And the mysterious cdrom.o module that now gets loaded and unloaded.

I tried all my tricks and I didn't get anything.

Groetjes, Han.
