Sounds normal since one is for server us, the other for client
use.

Any idea on the origin of this problem?

exportfs -r is run automatically by the "nfs" initscript.

diskdrake is interfering with it and probably a few other config
programs such as linuxconf/webmin; also, supermount script does.
