A trick I use, at least to overcome the failed dependency problem, is to
also have rpmdrake open.
If urpmi gives a failed depend message Try force Y/n I use rpmdrake to install the 
needed pkg/pkgs and then tell urpmi Y to force install and everyone is happy.
