I don't remember exactly (and don't have the laptop handy), but I'm fairly 
certain you are correct--that pcmcia was starting after netfs (S50+ I think.)

My solution was "mv S25netfs S99netfs", which seems to work fine.  Anyone know 
if there is a good reason for starting it sooner?
