Revelation of the century, you found out that KDE3 is NOT integrated into Mandrake 8.2. You did read the notices in the README to that effect. You did install the latest packages (they have been updated at least twice)? I have had 0 problems with KDE 3 so far running on 8.2 (but then again I did read some posts and waited until the fixed arts packages were out) Good luck trying to get all the other pieces of a linux distro running on Redhat (KDE 3 isn't the be-all and end-all of linux), which are all just a urpmi away under Mandrake, and which have never been packaged for Redhat.
