Not the same query but on a system with both kdes currently installed.
rpm -ba kdebase3.spec
error: failed build dependencies:
kdebase conflicts with kdebase3-3.0-22mdk
kdebase3 conflicts with kdebase3-3.0-22mdk
I can understand the conflict if I was rpm -i kdebase3, but for rpm -ba??
