Well, here in Mandrake-Edmonton office, I've always used ncftp... mind you, I'm not against using lftp, the one problem is that I've got a password protected FTP account I go into and don't know the password... I've been carrying my ncftp preferences for about a year now... Mind you, I guess I could always use tcpdump and sniff the password out and then switch... hmmmm... Still doesn't change the face that the ncftp with 8.2 seems bad, but after rebuilding and installing the older ncftp from 8.1, I'm able to download large files again. -- MandrakeSoft Security; http://www.mandrakesecure.net/ "lynx -source http://www.freezer-burn.org/bios/vdanen.gpg | gpg --import" 1024D/FE6F2AFD 88D8 0D23 8D4B 3407 5BD7 66F9 2043 D0E5 FE6F 2AFD Current Linux kernel 2.4.18-6.4mdk uptime: 8 days 8 hours 26 minutes.
