Wierd... possibly a combination of the two?  I should try it with a
different FTP server...  (I don't recall if I did or not).  All I know
is that 3.0.3, on the same FTP server (some windows software) works
fine downloading large files, whereas 3.1.1 didn't.

I'll try 3.1.1 on a different FTP server and see.  Maybe there is
something that is triggered with that particular FTP server and that
particular version of ncftp.
