1. I do not see any harm in it. Absolutely. 2. Would you try entering them with "noauto" flag and defining urpmi source as "removable" instead of "file". I suspect it would almost work and I am curious about "almost" part :-) But keep in mind, urpmi does not unmount sources after use ... -andrej
