It can also be done manually.
1) Tell it to mount all the partitions it detects (will mount them under
/mnt)
2) Get a shell prompt.
3) Run 'chroot /mnt'
4) Run '/sbin/lilo'.  If it fails, add a -v or -v -v in there to see
what's going on.
