yes, it write an Xfree config file for tv-out support. In fact, there are two parts : - a tv-out configure tool (card (ATI, Nividia, Matrox G400?, Voodoo3 ?), format (PAL, NTSC)). - a tv-out switch tool (select if a TV will be connected next time the PC will be (re)started).
All are writen in Perl with Mdk's library interactive and can be included in MCC. The switch tool could be used in text mode too. Atitvout don't work directly with xfree and some features don't work on my ATI Rage 128 and perhaps Radeon and it need to start in text mode for switching. I have writen a switching tool that use atitvout but the new version is very easier to use and is more stable ! I prefer the new one !
