Any chance I could impose on someone on the cooker list to compile a
kernel
module for me? There is a driver for the SPCA50x chip based USB cameras
available (don't know how good it is though). Unfortunately, I don't have
room on this machine for kernel sources, so I can't compile the module
myself, and the .o file available for download is for a different kernel. I
have a camera based on this chip, and would love to use it with cooker.
The module is available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/spca50x/.
If the driver is reasonably solid, any chance of putting it in
cooker?
