First the question part Is there a way to pull the rpms from a cd set and have the package tool look for rpms in that folder instead of from disc x of y (this would put mandrake on par with MS in the cab folder trick)
Now the suggestion in some future Mandrake could we (after the base system/filesystem is installed) get an option to extract the rpms from the media set and then do the rest of the install from a folder (in say /usr/distro?) Robert L Martin
