When the problem came from upgrading the kernel, it
has to be.  It used to work.

Well, given what you're saying, I'm guessing it hasn't
been found by the people on lkml :o(

This upcoming weekend I'll verify which kernel version
had the problem.  I'll try to look at the offending
area of the patch.  So I know ahead of time, what
files in the kernel source have their hands in this?
