I am just wondering, and I'd like a response from the Cooker team here, what would it take to bring the old rpmdrake back?? I haven't seen anyone ask this yet and the consensus seems to be the old one was better. Ok, some don't MIND the new one but I don't think I've seen one person say it's actually BETTER the current way. If the beta testers feel this way (me included) what will the public at large think?? Yes, I know, they may not have seen the old software manager to compare but should that be the point?? Shouldn't those of us that use this OS on a regular basis be the ones who influence its future?? If not, then why have beta testers?? Just to test features ML decides are best or to have an impact on the direction of the distro as a whole?? Just some questions.
Cheers, Jason Greenwood PS, either way, 9.0 will rock, thanx Cookers!!
