Trust me, I know it's not easy doing your jobs.. I'd say you're doing a very fine job as it is. P.S. Not to throw any more unnecessary work, but, I have had this li'l problem with automount, since, oh 8.1 (the first I downloaded actually). IF a cd is in the drive and mounted, NFS bails with : Umount : can't get address for mirage /net - device busy /misc - device busy Adding mirage to /etc/hostname (even adding it at the first entry) didn't help, unfortunately. If nothing's mounted, I get a clean boot, however, when EITHER my cdrw or dvd drive are mounted, that error pops up. To me, it looks like something's called a little too late, maybe? As in, maybe NFS should be unmounted earlier? or filesystems later? I dunno though. Am I the only one with this problem? ---------------------------------------------------- TJW: Head tech, Dreamless Realms Mud: http://dreamless.wolfstream.net Snippets http://dreamless.wolfstream.net/ Telnet dreamless.wolfstream.net:9275 The OLC Pages http://olc.wolfstream.net ----------------------------------------------------
