Arts causes problems for WINE/Crossover regardless of the sound system, and these problems have nothing to do with the sound system. You probably didn't have it running when you used OSS. Just tell the stupid thing not to start (KDE->Config->Sound->Sound Server). That should probably be the default, too. -- -- Igor
