You know even though you had this problem I am going to try loading
Beta 2 fresh and then try to update. I would be interesting to see if I
will have mine hang at exactly the same place or move beyond it. I will
write back with my findings. Since this is a fresh load I really have
nothing to loose except a few hours of my time.
