Yes, it is being truncated.

Did a test, it just times out. Yet still says everything was installed
successfully. 

A simply counter will tell you if all, some, or none were installed and
display the appropriate prompt. I am thinking of a newbie getting that
message not knowing the process thinking it was successful when actually
fact it was not.


The problem has disappeared.


Yes it was related to downloading packages, I had seven new dumps and
downloaded seven packages. Those packages were updates for rpmdrake and
dependencies.

Downloaded some more packages and no more dumps.

Oh, even thou I am complaining, I am impressed with rpmdrake, compared
with Redhat's setup it's a lot easier. Some more tweaking and polishing
and I see rpmdrake becoming the defacto standard for the installation of
rpm packages.
