Considering that Mandrake has distributed KDE and Netscape from the
beginning (you probably did not know the propertiery background at that
time?) I am disappointed on the new attitude.

Why run WinMe, I get FireGL support in SuSE (and RedHat with downloads
from ATI)

I can confirm myself, it's not hearsay.

Once upon a time I installed download Mandrake 7 and found support for
new graffic card and Netscape and stability and because of the good
performance I bought a boxed M7.0 and left Debian to the old box.
