If I want to backup say a user account in Mandrake Controlcenter (MCC) I go through the assistant and setup all the preferences I'd like to have. At the end it says prefs could not be saved! If I go through the same rigamarole in the expert mode, it saves the prefs with no trouble.
Next I can't deselect the save to the harddrive. I just want to save to cd for example. Can do both, but not just cd? And if the CDRW is not erased, i pretends to write to it, says everything is fine... except that no data was written! If I erase the CDRW like I should have, it works. Now if I had relied on the "all clear" I could be in serious trouble.
