x86-64 is supposed to be coming out the first part of 2003:

I would imagine it will go through a porting process similar to what PPC
does.  Which is that basically yeah it will get rebuilt on that arch.
Tested.  Any issues will get patched.

As far as ia64.  Well I'm not sure what Mandrake's intention is there.
