I have two network card in my computer, and I never remember which one is connected to the internet and which one on my lan. So, each time I install Linux I use dhcp for both of them, and after that I go in an network config tool to look wich one don't have an ip adress and change it for something in the 10.x.x.x range or in the 192.168.x.x range.
But this time I have a problem I use the network configuration tool in drakconf (text mode). So I change the address for 10.0.0.1 and I (a nouveaut) I have to choose wich card was an gateway. I really don't need that now... anyway I choose the lan one, and I receive this message : The ip adress must look like : 192.168.1.20. Well, I change the ip adresse to 192.168.1.20... same problem... and worst than that I can exit from the config tool. __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
