I just tried RC3 and I second that; I have always deleted the Dns server that the Mandrake installer suggested (because I don't use a DNS) and it's the first time it has objected. My feeling is that it's a very irritating change; software should *warn* users that they are making changes considered bad; it should not forbid it. Make these messages as warnings only or remove them completely. It's not a showstopper of course, but it should be easy to do. Thanks. Gerard
